As many as 200 sellers in Pagi Market, Asemka, Roa Malaka Urban Village, Tambora Sub District, West Jakarta soon willl be relocated to three traditional markets owned by PD Pasar Jaya.

This is as a one of City Administration’s strategy to realize eco-friendly and environmental orderly. While those relocation spot markets are Perniagaan Market, Jembatan Lima Market as well as Glodok Market.
“We are ready to fully support this relocation with the capacity that we have,” said the Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Djangga Lubis, Wednesday (4/8).
According to Lubis, from those relocation spot, only Perniagaan Market has a big capacity to accommodate them.
Head of West Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Sub Department, Slamet Widodo estimated displacement of 200 Asemka Market sellers could be done this year.
“We are going to held a coordination meeting today with other related units,” Widodo disclosed.
